Why organic?
• Since coffee is the second most traded commodity in the world, we feel it is VERY important that we only support organic farming practices.
EVERY purchase of an organic product counts and is an important voice (money talks) against chemical leaden food production processes. That’s why we always say... Vote at the checkout...buy organic.
• We have always roasted organic coffees but we are now fully certified organic. We have finalized our Organic Certification through Pacific Agricultural Certification Society (PACS). You will see the CANADA ORGANIC LOGO being proudly displayed on our new bags.
•We roast only 100% certified organic beans and our roasting facility is Federally inspected by PACS on behalf of CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency).
•We care about the air! Our coffee roasting process uses a clean burning afterburner that eliminates 99% of all VOCs and harmful emissions that are traditionally produced during the roasting process.
